Report on Thesis Presentation of 8th Semester Department of Political Science (Session 2021–2025)
The Department of Political Science successfully organized the thesis presentation and defense session for the 8th semester students of the 2021–2025 session at the Government Girls Post Graduate College. The event was held under the dynamic leadership and gracious supervision of the worthy Principal Madam Sadia Farooqi, whose continued encouragement and visionary guidance have been a constant source of inspiration for both faculty and students alike.
The thesis defense served as an academic culmination of the students’ four-year research journey. Each student presented their research work comprehensively, elaborating upon their chosen topics and responding to questions posed by the faculty. The presentations reflected the students’ hard work, analytical abilities, and deep understanding of their respective research areas.
The session was efficiently conducted with the wholehearted cooperation of the Political Science Department, led by the Head of Department, Madam Maryam Mehboob, along with the dedicated faculty members Mam Farhat Uzma, Mam Zahida Anwar, Mam Nelofur Usman, Mam Ayesha Batool, Mam Maham Saeed, Mam Ayesha Tareen, and Mam Rukhsar. Their academic mentorship and support played a crucial role in guiding the students throughout their research process.
The department had the honor of welcoming Madam Farhana as the external examiner, whose valuable insights and constructive feedback added great academic value to the proceedings. Coordinator Madam Gulnaz Rasheed and Professors from other departments including Madam Shaheen Usman, Madam Rukhsana Salam, Madam Saima Shabeer, and Madam Saima Maqbool also graced the event with their presence, accompanied by the Vice Principals, Madam Humera Sadozai and Madam Razia Muhammad Shahi.
The Principal Madam Sadia Farooqi expressed immense appreciation for the efforts of the faculty members and the outstanding performance of the students. The event concluded on a note of academic pride and inspiration, celebrating the department’s commitment to excellence, teamwork, and scholarly growth under the esteemed leadership of the Principal Madam Sadia Farooqi.
