On 4 September 2025 chemistry dept of Govt Girls Postgraduate College Quetta Cantt visited Chemistry Dept of University of Balochistan with students of BS 8th and 6th semester and faculty Shaista Mitta Khan, Bibi Shireen and Ammara Aftab, welcomed by the chairperson Dr sami and their faculty.
The purpose of this visit was to provide students with hands-on exposure to advanced research instruments and techniques in the field of chemistry.
Dr sami provides a comprehensive introduction of spectroscopy and Dr Samar facilitated students to perform practical using FTIR. Prof Amber delivered an insightful presentation on UV spectroscopy and the use of conductometer and other research related instruments.
Prof Sadaf Ashraf HOD chemistry dept expressed her sincere gratitude for the Principal GGPGC Quetta Cantt Prof Saadia farooqui for her continuous support, guidance and encouragement in arranging such study trips.
