On 13 Nov 2025, the final defence for the BS Physics 8th‑semester (2021-2025) students was successfully conducted at the Physics Department. Students presented their research projects, showcasing innovative experimental setups and theoretical models. The presentations were delivered in a working‑prototype manner, demonstrating practical implementation and problem‑solving skills.

 

Key Highlights

– External Examiner Prof.Dr.Jafar Khan Kasi (university of Balochistan) evaluated the projects and commended the students’ depth of understanding and the supervisor’s dedication. – Dr. Jafar Khan appreciated the interdisciplinary approach and encouraged the students.

– Supervisor: Ms.Gulbahar Bano coordinated the entire program and guided the students throughout their research phase.

– Principal’s Presence: Esteemed Principal, Prof.Sadia Farooqi attended the event, acknowledging the department’s consistent academic excellence and highlighted the department’s culture of dedication and teamwork, urging students to maintain the same enthusiasm in future endeavours.

– Program Coordinator: Ms Gulnaz Rasheed, Coordinator BS Physics, was praised for her meticulous organization, efficient execution, and relentless work for the BS program. 

– The final defence was a resounding success, reflecting the department’s commitment to fostering research aptitude and professional readiness among its graduates. The commendations from the external examiner and the worthy Principal underscore the collective effort of faculty, students, and support staff.
