The Economics Department bid a warm farewell to our esteemed colleague, *Prof: Farrukh Malik* ,on the occasion of her retirement. The farewell lunch was held on 29, November 2025 at Girls Postgraduate college Quetta cantt, and was attended by Principal Sadia Farooqi, faculty members, senior professors and staff members.  

Principal Sadia Farooqi praised Prof: Farrukh Malik dedication and contributions to the Economics Department, saying, “Her commitment to excellence and passion for teaching have been an inspiration to us all. We will miss her expertise and guidance, but wish her all the best in her future endeavors.”

Colleagues and staff members shared their fond memories and testimonials about Ms Farrukh Malik, highlighting her achievements, kindness, and generosity. The event was filled with laughter, tears, and memories, making it a memorable farewell.

 

A token of appreciation was presented to Prof Farrukh malik as a symbol of our gratitude and respect. In her farewell message,Prof: Farrukh Malik expressed her gratitude to the department and colleagues, saying, “I’m grateful for the opportunity to have worked with such a wonderful team. I’ll always cherish the memories and friendships made here.”

The event concluded with a sumptuous lunch, where everyone mingled and shared stories about Prof: FarrukhMalik time at the institution.

The Economics Department wishes Prof: Farrukh Malik all the best in her future endeavors and looks forward to staying in touch.
