On 1st September, 2026, a book distribution ceremony was held at Government Girls Postgraduate College, Quetta Cantt, with the Honourable Minister for Education, Ms. Raheela Hameed Khan Durrani, as the Chief Guest. She was warmly welcomed by Education Specialist Prof Sadia Farooqi, Principal Prof. Sabahat Azmat, college counsellors, and students.

The ceremony was attended by Director Colleges Mr. Muhammad Hussain Baloch, Joint Director Colleges Ms. Saeeda Niaz and Principals of girls’ colleges across Quetta.

The Honourable Minister distributed books among the Principals for their respective institutional libraries. The books included materials on general reading, poetry, Seerat-un-Nabi (PBUH), Naat, and academic textbooks. The books were provided through her personal MPA fund, reflecting her commitment to the promotion of education and her education-friendly vision and policies.

In her address, Ms. Raheela Hameed Khan Durrani highlighted the importance of education, reading, and intellectual development. She also expressed her commitment to supporting educational institutions.

The distinguished guests shared their valuable thoughts and appreciated the initiative. The ceremony provided a meaningful opportunity for interaction among education officials, principals, teachers, and students.
