A successful research session held atGovernment Girls Postgraduate College Quetta Cantt
A successful research session was held on 30th June 2025 by the Research Cell of Govt. Girls Postgraduate College Quetta, aiming to strengthen research culture, critical thinking, and student participation at the BS level in Balochistan.
The session was attended by guest speakers, supervisors, the Principal, Vice Principals, Coordinator, and HoDs. Discussions highlighted the dedication of supervisors in guiding students despite limited resources. Principal Prof. Sadia Farooqui appreciated the progress and and stressed upon adopting a structured approach to improve students’ motivation and research abilities.
Guest speakers Ms. Rumaisa (M.Phil, Japan) and Ms. Meherbano (M.Phil, USA) endorsed initiatives like Journal Club sessions to maintain student engagement. Vice Principals Prof. Dr. Humaira Sadozai and Prof. Razia Shahi, along with Coordinator Prof. Gulnaz Rashid, too emphasized the importance of consistent research efforts.
Prof. Shabana Wali, Incharge of the Research Cell, recommended the use of academic tools to improve the quality and relevance of student research.
