To Commemorate the 78th Independence Day at Government Girls Postgraduate College Quetta Cantt

To Commemorate the 78th Independence Day, a series of vibrant sports events were organised throughout the week at Govt Girls Post Graduate College QUETTA Cantt. In this continuation, on 9th August, friendly matches of Volleyball and Table tennis were played among the teams of Govt Girls Degree College Quary Road, Govt Girls Degree College Hassan Musa and Host College Govt Girls Post Graduate College QUETTA Cantt. Healthy competition and active participation were witnessed. A special highlight of the day was the esteem presence of the lady of the Iranian Consulate General, who graced the occasion as a special Guest. She was addition of diplomatic charm in the event. As we all know, Iran was the first country who accepted Pakistan 78 years back as an independent country on the map of the world.
The event was began with formal opening ceremony, during which Principal GGPGCQ Cantt, Prof. Sadia Farooqi, welcomed all worthy guests and participants. In her address, she extended heartfelt appreciation to the Department of Physical Education for organising such a well- coordinated event. She also acknowledged the valuable participation of GGDC Quary Road and GGDC Hassan Musa, special thanked to their principals for their spirited involvement.
Among the competitive events, Volleyball and Table tennis stood out for their thrilling matches and high-level performance. As expected, the Host College, GGPGCQ cantt maintained the winning tradition by scoring victories against GGDC Quary Road and GGDC Hassan Musa in both events. The sport day was concluded on the high note with cheers and spirit of unity and sport man ship- a true reflection of significance of 14th August.
